One boring afternoon after school got out we decided to try something fun. We pulled out the gingerbread village kit and went to work on it. The kids had so much fun gluing/sticking the houses together with the icing. Then came time to decorate each house with gumdrops, sprinkles and gummy Christmas trees. We used powdered sugar as snow. They enjoyed every minute of this project and were very proud of their creation. Once it was completed to their satisfaction they couldn't wait to take a bite. Needless to say the village didn't make it through the night. RIP mini gingerbread village!! Here is Nicholas after WAY TOO MUCH sugar. He was covered in icing and powdered sugar (AKA snow). So cute!

My name is Angie. I have just moved to Connecticut, however I am a southerner at heart. I have three fabulous children who keep me VERY busy.
